What would a Rock Grinder working Under Water sound like?

Having never heard a rock grinder working underwater, I cannot tell you what one sounds like with any accuracy. I can tell you I have heard a noise that replicates what I think it would sound like coming from the other side of my bed. First a confession. I used to snore and snore loudly. I have worn a CPAP for 18 years now due to the obstructive sleep apnea that caused my snoring. My wife and I refer to it as my snorelator. I am firmly convinced my wife needs her own snorelator. She did an at home sleep study and the sleep center told her she doesn't. She does use a Mute and occasionally a Breathe Right. They work - sometimes. When neither works, she can snore. She can make noises that cause me to wake up in fear for my life. {only slightly exaggerating} If I cannot get her to roll over and stop snoring, I resort to wearing earplugs. Even the earplugs are not always enough as her snoring sometimes vibrates the head of the bed. I've tried talking her into getting a new sleep study. So far, it's a no-go. I guess I'll just keep losing sleep. Photo is the one that came up first when I typed in apnea to the Pixabay search bar. Do you snore, or do you have a partner who snores? What do you do about it?

I don't snore and don't currently share my sleeping space with anyone. I suspect, however, that another minifigure wouldn't snore either.

You don't actually sleep, do you? You just lie there with your eyes open and stare at the ceiling.

@DWDavis I stare at whatever happens to be in front of my face whatever position I happen to be in. .. The things I've seen.

I do not snore and my husband does not snore, but it seems that your wife snores pretty loud.

The last two nights, she has used an extra pillow and slept slightly inclined. It helped a great deal.

@DWDavis I am glad that the extra pillow helped. It must be hard to sleep with a snorer.

Oh no so sorry to hear this. I have a wicked sister (yes she truly is)who will not admit she has severe sleep apnea and her gentle CPAP wearing husband says the same it is terrible for him.

I went so far as to record her one night because she was in denial.

He snores and says I do. But not to the point of waking each other up. She should do the study again.

Snorelator, that is a cool name. A sleep study might be called for. Good luck. Snoring keeps me awake.

Even light snoring keeps me awake. When she snores loudly, it is impossible.

@DWDavis How about trying to use a white noise machine and see if that will drown out her snoring. My cat snores at times when I am awake and listen to her.
