I Found the Cows

Some of you have read about the construction going on behind my home. The dairy farm was purchased and now about 40-50 homes have been built. Cows are gone. They were my neighbors since day one. Went out scouting to peek in the windows of the three homes left that are not sold yet. And I found a few cows behind one of the houses. Seems the farm was sold but perhaps they kept a few for themselves. But these were brown and black cows. My former neighbors were Holstein's (black & white cows). But I was excited just the same. Doesn't take much for me. ha! I took a quick snap with my phone. There was a barbwire fence between us, so I couldn't get any closer. Did I mention it is 95 degrees F outside with the sunshine? Yep, it was a hot walk. But I was surprised one of the houses had an unlocked door and the A/C was on. Somebody messed up it seems. Worked out good for me and no alarms went off when I opened the door, that I know of. That was all the excitement I could handle outside for today. A good day for everyone?
