post with an image

i don't know about you, but i always rather click on a discussion with an image, then on the one that doesn't. i just think it looks prettier when it has a photo in it, not just text. i usually search for images that would be related to the text and i enjoy doing that. maybe i'm just childish.
what do you think about discussions with images and those without them?

That's a good point, although it is mot always easy to find something suitable. There is also the matter of reducing the image to the right size.
Sometimes one wants to post something quickly - a topic has just been mentioned on the radio, for example - and you want to be the first to post it on MyLot and get the discussion started. Delay too long in sorting out an image and you may have missed the chance!

i don't pay much attention to the size of the image. should i?
i've seen that people are posting things that are happening, but i don't like that kind of discussions. so i don't worry about that.

@aureategloom By size I am referring to the stipulation that it must be less than 3 MB. A proper photo can easily be bigger than that, so I usually edit it to reduce its size - simply cutting it to 70% or 80% of the original.

I hate trying to find a suitable image for a discussion so just leave the image out. I don't think it lessens the quality of a discussion. But having an image may attract more people so perhaps having one would be a plus.

discussions without image can be interesting too, but those with an image attract more people for sure.

some discussions can't have suitable image for them, so it's better to leave them without it.

I am definitely drawn to discussions with images. It makes it stand out more but that doesn't mean I won't answer one without a pic as I am most interested in the title. I do like to add pics to my own discussions purely because it makes them look pretty although I haven't visited for a while so not made a new discussion recently.

everyone has their own choice and for me i choose that discussion whose title i like so i doing that way although i also visit my friends whatever discussion they post so its your way to interact with people.
