Busy Day, For Me Anyway

I am a true believer that you should never give up. When I saw this little saying I knew it was meant to be seen. The bright sunny background drew me in. I think it's because it reminds me of sunshine and it is raining here yet again.
I love the rain, don't get me wrong. I would not mind if it rained all day long but...today I have to go out into that rain. Not my favorite thing to do.
But, I need a blood test, I have a doctor's appointment, I need to go to the grocery store for a couple of things, and while I am out there I want to go to the library.
I will save the library for last because it is the thing that makes me smile. I love being in there surrounded by all those books.

I hope all went well with your doctors appointment.
I haven't been to the library in ages since I have so many books here that I haven't read I told myself no more until I make a dent in the ones I have. But, like you, I do love being in the library and I usually come home with a bag full of books.
Did you find any good ones?

@Marilynda1225 I forgot to stop, go figure. I will be going tomorrow. It's the only trip I will be taking out of the house.

I used to love going into the library. I worked at the library for several years and never got tired of the smell and the sounds and all those books. It's such a comforting place. Hope you have a good week.

No rain here today - were not expecting rain until tomorrow night into Thursday. I been loving these rain free days and the cooler weather also. No plans for me today besides work.

@HazySue It's been low 60's at night here been really comfortable weather to sleep. The nights our getting dark earlier though and I'm not ready for that time of year yet but unfortunately it is here.

Sounds like a busy day for you! I like dry days when I'm out and about with cloud cover and breezes like today. You've got a busy day ahead. My blood works is not till Oct for my doctor, but I'll be doing the same in Oct. I go to the library to use their internet computers so I save money. Today my day is as usual. After mylotting I'm going shopping for sale items.

I have always loved going to the library, and used to take my kids there all the time when they were little. Even when I was little, I would spend many days in the library. I got out of school at 3:00pm, but my parents did not get off of work until 5:00pm, so I would just walk to the library down the street from my school, and hang out there until my parents got off work and came and picked me up. I would find cool things to read every day when I was there, I think it helped solidify my constant thirst for knowledge.

@HazySue I agree with you 100%! Both of my kids loved the library and had a thirst for learning. They both have been amazing students in school.

I so love books....
I do understand how annoying it can be even for the people who love rains to walk in it.... Same feelings

Today I'm following Mylot bunny trails. Libraries are great places. Our local library reopened this summer.
