Emotions on myLot....

Here, I can always read various kinds of posts. I have seen people posting their emotions at every level, personal, social, political and everything. I do respect that. This is a platform to express and we all can do that. But sometimes I have read few comments and responses which are little mean to read... I am not judging the people or their response but I just think we can be humble enough to respond in a certain way..... Isn't this unfair... ???

I have seen some responses and comments that didn't seem very nice. Sometimes responses or comments come across as mean because of a language barriere, a different culture or a different sense of humour, and they weren't meant to hurt, but I have also seen comments that seemed to be written that way on purpose. They seemed (to me at least) more like a lack of understanding or empathy than a cultural difference.

@Aansh13 Sometimes I get the impression that a comment wasn't caused by the language barriere. It seemed intentional to me, but I don't know of course.

I do understand the point of language barrier, I may be wrong at judging the response. But I could feel it that way.

Sometimes things can be interpreted in different ways and the person responding interprets differently from the writer but doesn't mean to step on toes. Also, the language barrier and different cultures come into play. I've seen both of these happen where it wasn't meant to be mean. I hope there is a good reason for what you saw and not someone just being outright mean.

Nope... It's something that I have felt. Plus it's not even in my post. I may be wrong... But that's what it seems to me...

I suppose that it is part of the essence of free speech that one has to accept that what is said may not always be what one wants to hear. However, that is no excuse for "trolling" or "flaming".

But that's what it is, when it comes to freedom of speech

To like or not to like it's personal choice but I think we can reply in a nice way it shows our understanding.
