Aussies win first 2019 Ashes series match vs England courtesy Steve Smith and bowlers

What a terrific form shown by Steve Smith.
In the first 2019 Ashes series match vs England, Aussies were down at 122 for 8 in the first innings.
However, Steve Smith with som3csupport at the other end, hit a century to take Aussies to a good enough 250 plus score.
England did took a lead.
However Steve Smith scored another century in the second innings and with support from wicketkeeper Matthew Wade, he helped Aussies to set a target of 398 for England.
England collapsed in the second innings, thanks to terrific bowling by spinner Nathan Lyon who now has 350 wickets and James Pattinson and Pat Cummins.
The works cup winners England lost by a big 200 plus margin.
England now need to work a lot harder to get level in the series.

AUSTRALIA will take a 1-0 lead to Lord's next week after thrashing England by 251 runs in the first Ashes Test.
