So...No Dr. Apt. Today

We get there and I go to check mom in and the girl tells me, "Oh she doesn't have an appointment today. It's on blah, blah, blah day. I said no, the office called me and scheduled this appointment. I had an eye doctor appointment on the same day with only an hour in between that I had to call and reschedule. I know this appointment was made because I prioritized it. The other appointment was made after she saw the doctor last month for a follow-up appointment. Oh well, it is what it is. We still had to go turn in her heart monitor today at the cardiologist's office. I just wish they would have called and saved us some time and walking on my mother's part. I drop her off at the door here and then have to go to the parking garage to park. My daughter comes along on these visits to take her inside and sit and wait with her until I park. Then it is up to the 9th floor. Enough of my ranting....I'm going to grab a nap after I do a bit of MyLotting. Photo: Pixaby

Been there before and it is so frustrating. But nothing you can do but rant! And take a nap.

She asked to see my appointment printout which I did not have because the lady that did the testing gave me the appointment date when my mother finished the test. Apparently she didn't put it in the computer.

And that's decent medical care? Not nice at all on their part.

Nope. She checked the schedule to see if the doctor could squeeze her in since we were there but nope, out of luck.

@kareng I'm not a big fan of doctors and your situation doesn't help my attitude.

They never tell you one of the disadvantages of age is spending half your time going to doctors and waiting in their offices!!

It would be really nice if they would contact you when the appointment changes.

@kareng Yes, it would. Too bad there aren't many professional professions left.

Nap and it all will go away. I hate when things like that happen.
