Claudia was happy to receive my stockings.

After I finished washing my panty hose, I called Claudia. I explained how they were and she was interested.
There were 10 pairs all of them the most expensive kind there is, all almost new.
Tomorrow I will start with the shoes. I have several pairs of very good shoes that I don´t use any longer. The skin in my feet is so delicate now that many shoes will hurt them. I don´t want blisters in them.
Claudia asked me why I was giving away my stockings. But it has been a long time since I hace used skirts. After the lymphoma, my whole body changed in the part where the cancer was. It still hurts when I bend and my stomach is big now.
It is not nice to age, dear friends. So we only have to accept it and have as much fun as possible, considering the circumstances.
Do you give away clothes that don´t fit anymore?

I always do so. Donating things that I no more use. It is better that it comes to use for others.

I was happy that Claudia wanted them. There´s a saying here that charity starts at home. I ask first if any of my daughters want something, then I go to my eldest granddaughter and so on.

@marguicha That is good because that way they don't have to go shopping.

@marguicha Yes. Charity begins at home. I do the same. We share things among family and friends.

Any clothing that is no longer needed in this home is given away to a local second hand store like Goodwill.

I start by giving away to my daughters, then to Leticia or Dixie and finally I give donate them. But now I have to sort them first.

I don´t know how to sell online. Anyway, I was more than glad to give them to my daughter.

The doctor forbid me to use high heeled shoes after my back surgery 20 years ago.

@marguicha I still wear medium-high heels, but not as high as in the past. My niece has bigger feet (she is taller, it's normal), I know no one who could wear my shoes.

We don´t have those here. But there are other ways of doing it. The difficult thing is to sort them.
