Did you bring your husband with you to your anniversary trip?

Gah, I am really getting old and forgetful!
My best friend was sending me pictures of the mountains (she knows I love them). I asked her "Did you bring Sam with you?" but before she answered I say "Oh wait, this is your anniversary trip, duh!"
I am really getting forgetful.
Anyway, I wished her a happy trip. I'm sure I'll see more pictures of the scenery etc.
Are you getting forgetful?
What's the last thing you forgot (and felt silly over)?

MrP has been known to tell MrsJ to "have fun" when she's headed out the door to the dentist. He's not known for thoughtfully appropriate comments.

I always have to double-check to make sure my Keurig is shut off!

I double, and sometimes triple check, to make sure I've turned off the stove.

Wow! That's an exceptional memory. I can remember some things that are of no consequence, but I tend to forget things like exact birthdates or anniversary dates etc.

@LadyDuck I still have a pretty good idea of where things are that I've stored. I sometimes misplace things, but most of the time I can recall where I left something.

@paigea Lord help us if we ever giggled because they called us the wrong name, atleast that's how it was growing up. If we were being punished for something and they called us by the wrong name, we better not giggle.

I am Angie, Jennifer, Mandy, Amber.
My real name is Amber, but I go by any of those names with some family members who are forgetful.
I don't make fun of them because my nephew is Autumn Josh (His name is Josh, but I almost always say Autumn, his sister's name, first.
I'm getting forgetful with names too.

I think my boyfriend remembers a little more than I do... I forgot the exact day we met.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Really? In our special occasions I am the most active one when it comes to dates.

I also say some of the most random things. I've told people to "put the remote in the fridge" when I meant "put it in the chair."

@Nevena83 Oh! how Silly. It sounds like something I would do. I once put my cellphone in the fridge. I was talking on the phone, and had just hung up and put it down in the fridge so I could get some orange juice. Luckily I remembered it a few minutes later.

@ScribbledAdNauseum
My aunt tried to put a broom in the fridge and it took her a few minutes to realize she was trying to put a broom.

I am selectively forgetful it seems. Somethings are easier for me to remember.
