Does anyone drink or use in recipes this type of milk?

I've been keeping some in hand to use in my keto recipes and thought one was tampered with. What I'd like to know is whether any these have an extra seal under the cap? The first carton I opened looked like it had a broken seal and I thought I threw it away. Then a month later I thought I was I opening a newer one purchased again but it looked the same. I couldn't imagine that I would put it back into the bag rather than the fridge if I decided to keep it but decided that must have been what happened. Today I got a different brand out and that too was minus any kind of extra seal. So now I'm wondering if I really did buy three cartons and not just two like I came to believe. I'll never know the answer to that, but what is like to know is whether most brands figure the cap is enough of a seal? Once I go back to work I can ask customers when they but it through my lane, but for now I'm hoping someone out there in mylot land buys these.

I buy Silk Unsweetened and it has one of those pull tabs under the cap. I've never seen it missing.

Well I just opened the coconut milk. When I've used that up o may but the silk brand again and see. Others have said some capacity are made to break the seal once twisted and that may be the case here.

@just4him the one in the picture on the right is the one I used first. Is that the same silk brand you use?

@MarshaMusselman That's strange that would happen. I only use the Silk brand.

I sometimes make my own almond milk sweetened with dates. Then I use the ground-up part as "flour" for gluten-free baking.

I used very little in each recipe. But I will check the ingredients out. I won't have time to make my own though. I'll be doing well if I can continue cooking new recipes to eat .

@MarshaMusselman I've noticed that the chicken and beef broth I buy is open like that too. When I unscrew it I see the seal, but it's open.

@Tampa_girl7 it might be a new type of cap. Actually, I have gotten upset before at the seals they put on stuff as my joints don't work as well for opening anymore. Maybe sooner companies have had complaints as are changing to help us older women out.

The cartoon on the left has no seal but the cap is on there pretty tight. Val says the silk brand is sealed. If I buy another carton I will pay attention or maybe they switched to the caps that puncture the seal when twisted too. I guess that's common in some of the brands

Never tried them. I always like to see cartons that are tightly sealed.

They are sealed in the outside well enough. I was expecting an inside seal too and maybe none have that. Or the cap tears into it when twisted. I did notice that there are prong type endings inside the cap.

I don't drink milk either these days. I did try these for cereal but I no longer way cereal. I bought these for recipes where milk is needed. I do use a lot of whipping cream too but that doesn't work for everything.

They have little teeth on the cap that cut the seal as you open it. I made that mistake once and threw away a perfectly good carton of soy milk.

I just figured that out when replying to someone else. That's why my first carton looked tampered with. I'll have to looking the carton over. It should explain but maybe it does and I just didn't read it?

We have a seal that breaks when we turn the lid on the milk, I suppose it is the same for almond milk, that I do not buy because of the many unhealthy ingredients that are inside.

There should really be a seal after the cap; maybe some customers were just curious and they removed the seal. Do not buy it. I have tried almond milk and it tastes good; cheaper too and fits the low-carb diet.

I am not a milk drinker and cannot do these. I have bought lactose-free milk for my coffee before, but not these.

I love Almond Milk and use it often. It's great. My friend produces it and says the packaging depends on the distance the product is being shipped typically. They call it an Almond Ranch which seems odd to me. More like an orchard I would say. Great product.
