Decent Day

We actually had an alright yard sale day, the weather stayed nice (as opposed to yesterday's nasty weather) so that helped.We are planning to extend it into tomorrow, but then that will be the last day. I was told that our area has a law that yard sales can only be run for three consecutive days, which is dumb, but whatever.
Now I am home relaxing, my wife and son are still hanging out at my in-laws.

Glad you had good weather for the yard sale. You know back in Latvia people accumulate so much stuff and have no place to put it. Many over there could use the added income from yard sales but no one is allowed to make a yard sale go figure.

@jnrdutton I have no idea really. I never looked into it but no one is allowed to sell any of their stuff on their property.

@RasmaSandra That just seems ridiculous to me, but then again I don't know anything about the area, so maybe I'm just missing something and there is a good reason for it.

I am glad we sold anything today, but I am hoping tomorrow is better.
We walked away w/about $20, enough maybe to take Courtney & Eli to dinner, or a movie sometime or something like that.

When I have one I always go for Friday and Saturday, sometimes Sunday and people are out after church.

That is a sort of silly law. I guess it's to keep the peace as yard sales can be disruptive in neighborhoods.

@jnrdutton Probably also why they are mostly done on weekends. People might get stuck just trying to get to work otherwise.
