Just Watched Poms, Highly Reccomend this movie!!! / myLot

So happy i watched Poms!!! What an amazing movie!!! i thought it was just going to be the average funny movie, but this truly was an amazing and emotional movie! i highly reccomend it for anyone. I don't want to spoil to much but the premise is several older ladies in a retirement community decide to start up there own cheerleading squad, the movie stars Diane Keaton whom is one of my favorite actresses, she is Martha, she starts the movie out being very anti social and just wanting to die as she has cancer, but she befriends Jackie Weaver's charachter Sheryl whom encourages her to live life again.... It's truly heartwarming and is full of an amazing supporting cast including Rhea Pearlman, Pam Grier, and Celia Weston. It just reminds you so much just because you are older you are not dead, and never give up on you're dreams and continue living life to the fullest, the movie is just so much fun and is such a sweet movie, had me in tears in the end, and reminds me why i get along so much better with older people then ones my own age and younger :)

you will love it!!! alot of great lines in the movie to.... my favorite is when the teenage cheerleader tells the old lady to go break a hip and her retort is get pregnant lol

i always put movies on the scale of does it make me laugh? does it make me cry? and i did both so definitley great in my book, any movie that can really get to me i enjoy, i'd even watch this one again which is rare with movies...
