Eli's Grandma Is Sending Him A Movie

My mom said she is sending Eli the film "Aladdin".
I asked her if it's the original aka the classic/traditionally animated (cartoon) version, or the remake.It turns out the one she's sending is the 2019 remake, which I haven't seen. She's getting it from a DVD club I think, if I understood correctly.
I'm hoping Eli enjoys it.

I think that is great that she is sending that to Eli....I hope he'll enjoy it; we can all watch it together

I did see the original movie which was good. I have yet to see the updated version. I like the animated versions since I can relate o cartoons better than movies.

I kind of have my doubts about doing cartoons in live acting, but then again I love live acting (as on a stage) and am often involved as a member of the pit orchestra at my school. There is actually something great about seeing real people do parts, even if you are seeing it on a screen.
