Mom took a few days off work

Sorry have not been on here much, Mom took Monday and Tuesday off work so we spent alot of time together going to thrift stores, shopping and buying from farm markets. It's been nice enjoying just me and her time I wish she did not work so much and we could do more together, we brought Grandma to the foot doctor on Monday he did amazing work made me Grandma feel so much better getting her overgrown nails clipped now we have made appointments every three months so they never get that bad again, maybe she will be ready for a pedicure and manicure next I've been trying to convince her to do more but she has pretty much been adamant at staying home. But she did say she might let us bring her to see her sister sometime in the next few weeks, maybe some out of state relatives might come out and she will want to see them. So glad the physical therapist comes twice a week he's able to get to do more then I am which is to expected I guess it's his job, I just wish she would want to do more even just walking around the house, but she's my grandmother and it's her life she still has her wits and will do whatever she wants. I'm glad she still has a very good appetitie and her memory is still 100% there. How is everyone on mylot I will never catch up on all discussions so will have to start now.

You have to treasure family time while you can because they won't always be here.

perhaps with her toes tended she'll feel more like gettin' out'n doin' more. glad ya got to spend some time with yer momma. would be nice if'n folks showed 't yer sis's so's yer grandma could've a visit with many. 's fer the therapy schtuff?? i've found that folks're willin' to try to 'mpress strangers 'n refuse to do much 'f anythin' fer family. we tend to cater to 'em more 't seems.

She was in a rehab center for a few months because she had small ligament fractures in her back the doctors did not know how long she had them, but a backstory on my grandma she never went to doctors her whole life refused other then having her children she never went..... so the physical therapy is to get her help getting up and walking around after being bed ridden for a long while, now physically she is able to do alot more but is still of the mindset she cant do it but she can.... i am thankful her pain is gone now and if she doesnt want to do something we cant force her.

I'm happy you got to spend some quality time with your mom. I hope you get to keep spending time with her, doing cool things. Happy your grandma is more comfortable now, too. It is a blessing that her mind is alright

Very good that her memory is 100% intact. Many people complain memory weakening at this age.
