Not sure what to get my MIL for her birthday

Friday is my MIL's milestone birthday. I have no idea what to get her.
I already gifted her a handbag twice, so don't really want to gift her another one.
I looked at Swarovski but what I love is expensive and not sure if she will like it.
Getting her clothes doesn't seem like the best thing because I got her something for Mother's Day and it didn't fit and she had to exchange it for something else.
I am thinking maybe look for something for the kitchen or dining but she probably doesn't need anything from that department.
Any suggestions?

@lovebuglena What about a gift certificate to Barnes & Nobles?

It'd have to be a Russian book and not sure what she likes to read.

@kareng Wouldn't work as she doesn't really read books in English.

A necklace, bracelet, or earrings? Happy Early Birthday to your mother in law. I usually gift clothes, handbags or money.

I definitely can't gift money. As for jewelry, the stuff I seem to like is expensive.

@infatuatedbby It's about how much you are able/willing to spend... I can't get something very expensive.

Her favorite perfume? A book of her choice? Music?

@Ladanger That's a hard one. Hard to know which scent a person likes. And some people are allergic.

@lovebuglena That is the way I was when I had a MIL. It was hard to buy for her because she had about everything.

Maybe taking her out to dinner would be nice but I still wanna gift her something. But I want it to be nice. Don't want to gift something unless I like it and think she will too.

yes, gifting clothes, bags and shoes are not practical because we have different preferrences. how about spas or massage gift voucher.

Yep. Been looking at them in Swarovski. What I love is either more than I want to spend or not sure if she will like.

@Ladanger Leaving the gift shopping for last minute is not the best idea as then you may end up with nothing or end up getting something bad.
