Perhaps I Overreacted, Maybe Not

A friend of mine basically had a fit because Amber was using Snapchat filters to do Selfies with Paisley and they were adorable but she went off on a tangent so of course I defended Amber, of course I did, she’s a first time Mother with a daughter who has special needs, I’d say she is rocking Motherhood, and still others second guess. This person is not a Mother, and she doesn’t have the experience and training with Children, I spent years working with kids, and I have helped to raise nieces and nephews, and there are things worth getting bent out of shape over, snap chat filters are not amongst those things.

I could go into an entire rant about how ridiculous your friend is... but I won't! If Amber is using Snapchat filters with her own child then that's up to her. Now, if Amber was doing this with your friend's child without permission, that would be different. People do get a bit weird when it comes to social media.

I don't like photos of girls being shared, online. Too many bad things are happening, because of innocent 'selfies!'

It wasn’t public, only shared amongst family and friends! I think my niece has more sense than that!

We're used to put photos of our family in the social media and we don't have to worry.

That is putting one's nose in another business that has nothing to do with her. What a busy body! Besides, why does she even think it is bad taking these photos?
