If you chew...

...sugar free gum at all you may want to stay away from this one. This tic tac product came out with gum last year and that's not too bad but this one is awful. I don't know if it's the whole sugar-free line or just this flavor but it disintegrates in your mouth when you're trying to chew it.
If you're chewing and doing other things you may not realize right away how the consistency is changing and end up swallowing it.
It doesn't taste bad it just gets weird after a little bit of chewing.
Just thought you'd like to know. I was going to contact them with my feedback but they don't have a spot for that on their website.

You should look for a customer service number and go about it that way. Most companies have that, and sometimes they'll give you a coupon.
I've never tried the gum from tictac. Was it a sour taste?

No, it's a good flavor. It just falls apart and becomes somewhat slimy for lack of a description.

@MarshaMusselman Hmm, that's odd. I guess they need to work on their recipe a bit. Is this the only flavor of tic tac gum you've had from them?

@ScribbledAdNauseum it's the only flavor of the sugar free type. I had their regular gum once some months back, I think, and that was fine and normal.
Now that I'm back to work again, I did see that the gum they've had for a few months is also sugar free, but I think that flavor is fine. One lady bought three multi packs of sugar free watermelon. She may let me know how that one is once her grands try it.

I don't tolerate artificial sweeteners so I never use sugar-free gum or anything with artificial sugar in it.

@MarshaMusselman I use honey more often than not and not a terrible amount of that.

@BelleStarr I don't particularly like honey. And I read that honey isn't much better than sugar in the long run.

Aspartame and the other type has never bothered me before, but I've recently read some other side effects of those sweeteners and may try to stick to the ones that come from fruits grown here and elsewhere. They may still be manufactured in such a way that might cause some to be more gassy or related issues, but even though our bodies might process sugar better it has been know to be one of the main causes of inflammation and inflammation may be the root of many illnesses.
I have yet to figure out which one I can tolerate the best and that may be an ongoing learning process.

Do you stay away from sugar free products of any kind, or just the gum?

I haven't tried that yet. But, thanks for letting us know on this. I hope you get their support line soon.

I tried already I don't want to waste my time looking. Once I'm back to work if I ring up any of the sugar free gum I will ask my customers what they think about it. It could be just me.

@MarshaMusselman Oh I get your point. But, that seems to be an excellent idea.

I don't chew it much and should leave it alone as my jaw started hurting recently and the gum chewing might make it worse.

Huh, I didn't do that meaning delete your comment. Did you do that accidentally of course?
Do you keep a page open that will refresh each time a new one appears? I've watched before and usually I'm not that quick unless that's the page I'm using to do my reading with.

There sugared gum is fine in taste and consistency. They should have had it tastes tested longer.
