Killing Two Birds With One Stone

That's a better title than, I'm Home, don't you think? Anyway, I'm home and I did take care of two things at once to save time.
The good news for today isn't just the fact I did laundry at my son's, it's the energy I have in my knees today. Heck, they don't even hurt. Zero pain and I'm going to enjoy that fact as I was almost running up and down the stairs at my son's this morning. At the same time, almost, I also walked through Aldi getting a little shopping done while the clothes were in the dryer. Thus, killing two birds with one stone. Shopping and laundry finished, separated, folded and put away.
I have enough meat for 16 meals. I bought four packages of meat. Two pounds of hamburger split into four meals each and two packages of boneless beef ribs split into four meals each. Which amounts to roughly 4 ounces for each meal. So, I'm set for a little while for meat.
I'm also set for one week for laundry.
It's amazing what you can accomplish if you put your mind to it and not waste time.
I also took the map to show my son, and he LOVED it. I came home with the tracing paper pad so I can get the geography for the planet figured out.
It was a fantastic morning. I got a lot of notifications finished before I left, and have 100 to do now. So, I'm going to get those done, visit your posts, and see what you're up to today.
Before I leave for the day to work on New Horizons, I will post the health report for yesterday.
What are your plans for today? Thanks for reading. Another picture from the Botanical Gardens.

@just4him They went higher than I wanted to spend. Not a bad price but I would have had to do moving around here so it wasnt worth it at this time.
Forgot to say I am glad your knees are being so good today.

@wolfgirl569 It's too bad they went high, but probably a good thing with all the work they would have caused.
Thank you. I'm so happy they're doing well. This past week I was ready for new knees.

You had a good progressive day. I went out and about and did some window shopping. I did stop by Ross's as I had to return some items. I bought myself a real soft winter top. Just for fun I stopped in at a furniture store. I found the coolest couch that has recliners on both ends. I fell in love with it. The price was way out of my range. $2100.00for it. I left just wishing away.
I got home and done a few things around here. I had people stop by to look at some of the things I had for sale and I got rid of a few things. I was happy with that.

You sounds full of energy today. My former roommate used to do that too. He would shop monthly, and then cook one day, and divide all his food into little packages. It was cheaper..and he didn't have to worry about daily cooking.

That's great he could do that. I found spending a set amount per week helped me have food for the entire month. When I bought once a month, I was on rations the last week until payday. This month should have been that way, but with everything messed up with housing and not knowing what my rent for September was until yesterday, I could only buy essentials. It worked.

That is how I work! I get a list of things I need to do and go at them one after another, in a line of where they are usually. I have to work this evening and I will also do several things while I am in town.
You are on a roll!

That's great! Thank you. It's a wonderful day here. I've changed into shorts as it's hot out there.
