Yes. In 2003 Madonna released the first of a five-part series entitled "The English Roses". They are stories Madonna drew from personal experiences in her life and as a follower of the Kabbalah religion. These books have been released in more than 100 countries and translated into 42 languages. The English Roses is a story about friendship and rivalry between four schoolgirls in contemporary London.

Kabbalah is more of a practice than a religion, it is part of Judaism. I am glad she is finding fulfillment this way but I am not sure I want to have her telling me about life. Hers seems a lot more messed up than mine.

I am not sure if I've even heard of that religion, but I didn't know that Madonna practiced it. I also had no idea she wrote books.

I have never even heard of the Kabbalah religion, so I guess I have some learning to do.
