Listening again and again

I noticed a few people were able to sing songs exactly the same way as sung by original singers: the same sound and rythm. The similarity was achieved due to continual listening and repetition. Last time, I had one song that I could sing well on stage. Some friends commented that I could sing it well. That was a "When a blind man cries" song by Deep Purple, which was still in origial version.
Have any songs you are good at singing?

@yanzalong We both sang in our son's choir for a few weeks when we visited him in Ireland. That was fun.

None because I'm not a good singer and I don't have the voice.

i like listening to people sing, but i prefer that they interpret the song in their own way, instead of a perfect copy of the original singer or band.
