we dont have it here but back in my in-law's house, they had this old model of electric fan. it was made of iron thats why it was sooo heavy. according to my husband, it was bought in 1940's and the make was.white westing house. in my grandma's house, they also had this super duper big television set, almost the size of a cabinet. it was made of wood. we also had this iron made of iron lol. you had to put embers inside for it to work. what about you? what have you got there?

@Janet357 yes, the old stereo still functions but the disc player no longer functions but at least we can still listen to FM and AM stations. All the other furniture we are still using. They are more durable, the best hardwood were used,

@Janet357 Here they are in the bottom left-hand corner. They were used to make butter curls too (bottom RH corner). The top two photos are of a stamp which was pressed into a pound of butter before it was sold.

My house has five or four generations of stuff so it has a lot of antique and vintage stuff, add to that my personal collection, wish I could write about each one of them with pictures someday here on my Mylot.

We used to have the old television set from the 70's that was heavy, but we got rid of that in the 90's I believe. We have an old lamp, but it's not too old, maybe from the 80's. All of our appliances are new. We did have a stove that was from the 70's as well, but we finally had to replace it.
