Instead of A Headstone...

Earlier I was listening to a song and it talked about a guy who wanted a jukebox over his grave when he died (instead of a headstone.) If that were actually practical, seeing as I'm a huge music fan, it'd be pretty cool. I'll keep my expectations a little more grounded in tradition & common sense though. If you could have something besides a headstone, what would you choose?

I can't think of anything that I'd want besides a headstone.

I don't think having a jukebox would go over big with others because it could wind up being a spot for teens to hang out. I have not even considered this. All my close ones are in Latvia and buried in places where there would be no room for me. I might stay in the US and have my ashes scattered over my hometown NYC. Perhaps my spirit could continue to live there.

My husband and I recently had a headstone put in our church cemetery, but our ashes will be in containers that will be buried there.

I think a juke box might distract other mourners. Right now I think I'd like my ashes strewn over Montana.

I would choose to have an image of a small train since I like trains a lot.

@jnrdutton I guess since it is his headstone he can decide what he wants there. I would have a headstone and people coming to visit me.

I think that is an interesting idea. Not sure what I would choose to have instead.
