Well, if you have read my last few posts, it was all about my concern over my household help's dengue. And how that has impacted my regular functioning. And not to mention I feel mentally and emotionally exhausted too. When someone has been with you for years, you develop that bond and feelings.
Well, her report from yesterday sample shows a slight increase in her platelet counts. And that is something positive and assuring. Though the count is still well below the normal range but at least it is moving in right direction. As for her fever has come down and it is not so high. Yesterday I could find her voice a little better when I called her. For sure, she will take quite some time to get back her strength to be on feet. This disease is a real bone breaking one.
I have sent more papayas, tender coconut water and fruits for her with her sister. Her sister comes to help me in the evening with few chores. And she is a real good worker..quite efficient and does a perfect job. I am happy to have her. Though she does very little in an hour but she does it very well. That is a big help.
Now we have to give next blood sample tomorrow to keep a track of platelet counts. I am hopeful that it will improve with time.
I am here after all morning chores and have another 40 minutes to mylot before I get ready for work. I can see a couple of survey invitations in my mail and would like to attempt them along with mylotting.

Yes. We hope so too. Just given her blood sample in the morning and report should come by late afternoon. Hope it continues to improve. She definitely looks and sounds better.

You too! I am here outside music class. 20 more minutes and then I will drop her to keyboard class nearby. That time I will use for walking and finishing some errands.

@amitkokiladitya Seriously, I am trying to catch up breath. Husband is also so busy with his clients visiting from US that he is not able to help much. I have asked him to keep Sunday free so that I can relax and go out for coffee with my friend. He will cook and be in house. Let's see it happens. Even he will be too tired with all his back to back meetings this week.But for sure, I am not doing anything on Sunday. We will manage somehow.

We have to give the next blood sample tomorrow morning and report will come by evening. Her temperature has really improved and we are hoping for the best.

They are not interesting but rather stressful. But anyway it is getting better. hope today's report also comes fine. My maid is 33 years old and is not a little girl.

We are hoping for it to be soon but have no control over it. Just taking good care and close monitoring is what we can do. Keeping fingers crossed.

Dengue in our country is an epidemic. The latest report says the dengue cases have reached to 106,630 from January to June this year 2019.

@arunima25 That's alarming indeed. Out of that infected persons, 720 were killed. Mostly were children, between 5 and 9 years old.

glad to hear that platelet count increase and in few days it will more increase, we all are human and we know anything happens anytime. we must have respect and care for each other. you are doing a perfect job and i am sure she also feels good to have you.
