Too early for 2020

I am a planner addict and I think I have made discussions about that here years ago. I collect all sorts of planners and from different brands as well. I could have a dozen planner for a year and use them all at the same time. That's how addicted I am to planners. However, this year I've cut down to only three planners. Two from Starbucks (Phlippines and Malaysia version) and a Midori (Japanese brand). I told myself I'll never buy more planners for 2019. But for 2020? Hmmm. I saw a store on Instagram posting a pre-order for the Hobonichi 2020 planners and I simply couldn't resist. Hobonichi was a favourite of mine from 2017-2018 and I just missed using my Hobo this year. So I already placed my pre-order. It will be on Sale on September 1st and since it's coming from Japan, I will be getting it a week or two after. Aren't I too early for getting a 2020 planner?

Not too early for a planner addict. I almost ordered the Hobonichi Yamazakura last year. But shipping cost was too much. I just settled with this nice free weekly planner that I got from Canyon Cove. :D I still have the mega weeks in mind but most likely I'd end up using whatever planner that comes my way (as long as I like it.) I like the Starbucks Korean Midori too... but ah, too much!

There are local resellers of hobonichi here. You can find them on IG there are a lot but my favourite one is craftylaneph. I get my hobonichi and midioris from her.

@almostoveryou craftylaneph purchases in the hobonichi website so whatever you see there, she can get it for you as long as it's on stock. And I just purchased a Prada X traveler's company tn and I am so excited to get it on the 18th of September. Never buy those things on amazon coz the shipping will kill you. There are a lot of enablers on instagram. I always buy from planner addicts like me. They're everywhere and they're reliable. Do you know Mommy Lhey? She's a Filipina living in the US and she has her own planner. She designs stamps, ephemeras, stickers, and planners. Her official resellers on instagram are chinky and jujet. If you follow them and other planner addicts, it's easy to get the hobnonichi locally.

@toniganzon last time I checked they didn't have the yamazakura yet so I thought to check via Amazon.

I don't think it's too early. I already have some events that are scheduled for 2020 which I needed to record. I am presently using a planner that goes from July 2019-June 2020.

That's good. Hobonichi has a 5 year planner but I didn't get it because it's too thick and besides, I don't really plan. I just love decorating them.

@1hopefulman I use them but not in a planning kind of way. If you have instagram and you will search for #planneraddict you would know what I mean.

I love my planner. I use the same kind I used when working and had to keep track of meetings, appointments and the like. I love it. I could never keep more than one up to date though. I think it is the perfect time to get 2020. I like to get all the family birthdays, anniversaries, etc. all in place.

@toniganzon It is made by Mead, 8 1/2" x 11" and has daily spots as well as monthly pages, lots of space to write in details by day, etc. A section in back for other information or whatever you want to put there, names and addresses, etc.

@kareng Never heard of Mead. The very first planner I had was a ring binder from Filofax. I think I collected about 5 Filofaxes in different sizes and different leather covers. Three in pocket size, safiano, penny bridge, and the Metropol, one in personal size, and another one in A6. Typical planner inserts similar to yours. I believe Filofax is a US Brand. Then I also had the Kikki.lk from Australia. MAMBI from the US. But my most favourites are from Japan because of the paper quality. Hobonichi uses tomoe river paper which I really really love.

It's never too early to get a planner. I already have plans for January 26th, 2020 and June 12, 2021. I had to write the dates in my 2019 planner.

What do you write in your planners? I'm curious. I have a planner too but i dont write much into it. I used my phone for notes.

I love pen and paper, if you have an IG, type #planneraddict and you will see what the addicts actually do to their planners. The first time I had my iPad about 7 years ago, I thought I didn't need my pen and paper but I was wrong. And I thought I could write everything on my phone, but not comfortable with it. I need paper because I cannot decorate my phone the way I do with a real paper.

Like I said, I am a planner addict and though 2019 isn't over yet, I'm already excited to get this planner for 2020. But of course I have to wait for 2020 to come before I could use it.

@birjudanak No, this one doesn't come cheap and the reason why I'm getting it ahead is because I want this design before it runs out of stock. Hobonichi never go on sale nor do they give discounted price.

I'm not planning anything yet for 2020 but I like to get my planner ahead especially the limited edition designs because once they're sold out, I couldn't get them anymore.
