Before you start jumping me at about lizards make sure you do the research about them. I love animals but not a huge fan of our reptilian friends. I’ll look at them but I don’t keep them the close thing to them I have in my house are fish. We do have a bunch of little skinks that life around our house. We live close to the woods. I could walk outside and throw a rock and it would hit the woods. First you must know the difference between poisonous and venomous! First venomous is when something bites you putting toxins into your blood stream from that animals saliva. Poisonous is when you eat it. Lizards there is only three that are and you typically don’t se them in your backyard unless you live in the desert. Here are our venomous lizards iguanas, Gila lizards, and Mexican beaded lizards. So if hey bit you, you will get sick and might die if you don’t get treatment. Little skinks in your backyard are not poisonous. Now if you do touch one it’s good thing to wash your hands just like if you touch any animal. https://reptilefollower.com/are-lizards-poisonous/ Thanks @SydenWasiq! If your still scared do them don’t keep them but you can stop telling me they are poisonous because they are not! If touched just wash hands you’ll live.

Gila monsters are venomous if it bites you. I would not touch one. I saw one once in real life.

@ShyBear88 We knew not to touch it. It looked dangerous. A bite would hurt and inject poison.

I don't fear lizards as long as they are not big. The normal house lizards are fine. They don't pose any problem.

Most are small from what I’ve seen.

The average lizard is not poisoned here and cats really like to eat them.

I live in the desert so now I should check if the lizards that live under my Mobile Home are toxic in any way?

Yes, he really did and kept telling me we where going to die from them being around. I no matter what I said I was always wrong. I don’t mind being wrong but I was like 100% that no all especially skinks are not. Yes they might be dirty and we should wash up if we touch on but I don’t plan on eating on. I think I know the wild life around our house pretty well to know what is or isn’t okay.

Yes if another animals eats them it can be bad depending on the type. When we had a golden retervier she would eat little frogs thankfully no where harmful. The skinks around our house are okay for the cats.
