Dog in Kansas gives a senior citizen some peace of mind

If there is one good thing of having a pet for companionship for a senior citizen who is retired from their former line of work, it is that the pet gives the retired person one way to beat the lonely blues. Charlie Hane who lives in Topeka Kansas who is currently working as volunteer at a humane society three times a week has found that his dog Maddie is useful to keep him company. Charlie mentions that since a lot of people feel sad after they leave the workplace since they have no hobbies to occupy their time. In his case having the company of Maddie gives him happiness since he has to walk his dog and make sure that his dog has a nice place to stay in his home. The best part is when Charlie takes his dog for a walk in a city park where he can meet with other people who have dogs of their own where he can chat with them during his stay at the city park.
