Can you hear it?

They arrived and an aged old tradition commenced. Money exchanged for serviced rendered,or it will be once the job is complete. I can hear the banging and slamming down of materials, of men sweating as they fix the roof. This will just be the first job, we will need to do something about the trees before we get the whole job complete. They were meant to be here yesterday but a prior job and then rain, held them off. I am glad it is not raining now.

Nope, they are done. This is just a small job. They will have to come back and stay all day, but we'll need to tend to some trees first.

@infatuatedbby Nah, we have to get another company out here for that. We have a bunch of trees in the front yard that have been needing trimmed, but there are some that are behind a shed that need to be trimmed to.

It's good they got done before the rain. I need to get some gutters done before the rain comes back.

The sky stayed Carolina Blue until around 6 pm, and they were long gone before then thankfully. Has it been really rainy for you the past two weeks? It's been rainy off and on here.

@noni1959 Oh definitely! Rain is definitely a good thing for all that dry brush. You need as much as you can get.

@ScribbledAdNauseum We are in our dry month but we had two days of good down pours that ended yesterday. We'll have a couple more dry weeks then will be hit with our rainy season that never seems to end. I'm not complaining. After last years fires, I'm happy for the milder summer.

No, not yet. We do need the whole roof done, but they are just making a minor repair for now. We are hoping they'll be done shortly.

The small job was wonderful. We need to call them back once we get the trees taken care of.

@Janet357 I want it to rain here too, but not until they have left and the job is done. It has been too hot for me.
