Baseball Heaven

Many times I’ve said that I heard it said that John Fogerty’s “Centerfield” plays when you enter the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York.
Now I can tell you for a fact: no. At least, not anymore.
That’s right. Today I made it to baseball heaven.
Cooperstown, if you’ve never been there, is a tiny village-type town in central New York. The Main Street looks like any small town Main Street in a hundred other places.
Except for that one building.
And, honestly, from the outside, it’s not all that impressive.
Step inside, however, and the history of the great game of baseball awaits you.
From the “myth” of Abner Doubleday “inventing” baseball in Cooperstown (long since proven false) to the 2018 World Series (things such as Ichiro’s retirement and Scooter Gennett’s four-home run game aren’t updated), it’s all baseball.
And it is all good.
I finally made it to Cooperstown.

You hadn't been to our "church" before? Our Valhalla? Our temple of the Gods? Let us not forget the town is named after James Fennimore Cooper.

@JohnRoberts — no Who’s on first!
PS: ever heard that parody of this about three rock bands: Who, Guess Who, and Yes?

How cool,must be so neat. Is there just like a peaceful calm in a place like that? What I always wonder? Cardinals doing their hall of fame Today on Satuday I believe.Isringhausen Scott Rolen and Mort Cooper. Say its free to the public to attend, If in area hell, everything in that area is like 4 hours, pay a visit and make me jealous.
