Dengue cases in my locality perhaps reached to a very alarming level. In fact, the Department of Health already declared national dengue alert. The first hospital I visited is a public one but I backed out because the ER has plenty of patients and I’ve heard that there are many Dengue cases among children there. I went to the private hospital because I could not stand on the crowd and I think that the scenario worsen my hypertension. There were patients before me and another came after me. Next from my seat was a boy who has tested positive for Dengue. The parent’s brought the child for admission but unfortunately, they were referred to another hospital for the reason that their facility for that certain case is already full and could no longer cater for another patient. My Goodness, I hope the boy has admitted and receive the appropriate treatment very soon before it’s too late. Photo Credit: pixabay.com

That's a good question Ms. Anna. Although, they already acted to prevent outbreak, it should be intensified. People have also done their part and I hope that this will help to resolve the problem and to prevent more casualty.

we can't really blame the hospital if they're already full and their staff overloaded with multiple cases, but like you, i also hope the boy will be admitted elsewhere

I had a trip to the ER because I got a lacerated wound under my lower lip when it accidentally hit the extension of my computer table.

Even here in our city the outbreak is rising. Some Hospital don’t accept patient coz they prioritize dengue patients.

According to the nurse, they still have rooms for new patients but for dengue cases it's already full. I don't know what it means but perhaps they no longer have the equipment?
