What a Difference

Summer has been unrelentingly hot this year. Day after day temperatures were in the mid nineties and the humidity was almost thick enough to spread on toast.
This morning, however, I woke up to rain and temperatures that have fallen so far I had to look at the thermometer in my car twice.
61’F (16’C) a big change from 95’F (35’C) temperatures.
My ability to interact online at the moment is a bit limited. In his attempt to install an invisible fence to contain our savage canine my husband accidentally cut the internet cable. He was hoping to fix it today, but working in the steady rain holds absolutely no appeal for him at all.
Meanwhile I’m hanging out at the library, taking advantage of public internet access!
The photo is totally unrelated to where I am and what I have written about today.
It a relaxing photo of a creek in Acadia National Park. And if you look carefully you might find my small travel companion.

@JudyEv they (my husband and son) have rigged a temporary solution by setting the router up outside at the far end of the feed to our house. I now have internet on the front porch

He fixed one spot but it looks like he actually cut it twice.

@sophiamorros photo looks just like where I was today, cool and refreshing on the heat and no people.

I like places that are cool and refreshing and free of humanity.

I used the computers at the library back 11 years ago when I was hiding from a stalker, after the trail I seen no need to hide anymore.

Glad your safe now! I've used library internet off and on for the past fifteen years or so. I'm sort of hiding from the head librarian. I volunteer here regularly and she'll probably put me to work if she spots me.

The connection here is pretty good. Unfortunately, the library is only open until 2 on Saturdays so I won't be able to use it for long.
