I don't know what to read next!

I am sitting here on my bed with my laptop on my lap. I can look to the right and see a bunch of books on a shelf. I can do the same if I look to the left. I even have a few books on a dresser that serves as my night stand.
I have the kindle app on my laptop with a lot of free books loaded onto it.
I have no idea what I want to read next.
Except that I want it to be a historical type. I've stopped and started reading several times today.
I am bored, and want to read. I just don't know WHAT I want to read.

Oh, it won't be long before I get into that conundrum too. I do like to watch horror movies during the spooky time of the year. I'll also read a few thrillers too.

@Ladanger YEs, to all three of those things for me.
I've already been melting some fall scents in the wax burner. Love, Love, LOVE fall.
I had some photos of the changing of the leaves.. Well I still do, but they aren't readily available at the moment. One tree out here turns a bright orange making it look it's caught fire.

@Spontaneo Oh no, I know you didn't. Sorry, I was being humorous with my last comment. I re-read it now and realize that it might not have come off that way. I was barely awake (pre-coffee) when I wrote that.

No I haven't, but that sounds really interesting. I'll have to look into that one in a little while, might see if I can find it when I go to the thrift store later this week.

Not all of the books I have are historical, and I know I want it to be that. I haven't rearranged my books yet, so there all over the place in genre.

@Tina30219 Yes, I definitely need to do that. Also figure out a schedule for myself. Earning versus doing necessary chores versus having fun. I tend to just do it all in a jumble.

I think my problem is that I have a pretty good idea of what's on my shelf. I think I have about five historical fiction books that I haven't yet read, and I'm just not in the mood for any of those.

I have three books (physical, paper) packed in my travel bag. I also have two sewing projects packed and ready to go.

Are you coming down to visit your sister and her family?
