Do you prefer a reply to your comment or a 'like'?

Sometimes when I interact here people 'like' my reply and they don't answer. I like to receive an answer because in this way I can interact more. I don't know if we are paid for likes. But I am not bothered if some people like my reply and never come back. What do you prefer? A reply to your comment or a 'like'?

I know that we are paid when we receive likes. But I prefer replies because those are fun.

I will reply for as long as I have something to say. Once I have nothing more to add, I will hit the "like" button and move on. It lets people know that I have read the comment, but that I have nothing more of substance to add.

@dya80dya Well, I do not mind if I only get a like. I don't feel ignored. Sometimes I get irritated when people just write out an emoticon and nothing more.

It is nice to get a comment, but I think it is okay to like it without writing a comment if the person doesn't have anything to say. I comment back in most cases. If the response or the comment is very short and I can't think of anything to say I like it without writing a comment.

@dya80dya I usually do the same. I comment on most responses, but not responses like "Nice post", "Cool", "Great" or something like that. People don't have to write a lot, but the ones who respond with one or two words don't get a comment from me.

The like tells me that somebody at least read it. I also like it when they leave a comment because i can see what is on there mind.

I like replies as they increase interactivity on my posts.
Likes are kind of an added bonus, though personally I am quite liberal with likes.

I like both actually. I have no idea how we get paid here on mylot but I repeat I enjoy the "likes" and comments which either I answer or give thanks for...

Haha. To be frank with you : Both.
But again, I don't expect that. I'm happy with any activity with my profile.

Generally i comment if reply is meaningful and of one full sentences who i can reply. Sometimes people share emoji so can't reply as only like.

I like more posts than I comment on because sometimes I don't have anything to say or add to what was written. Sometimes someone else has already said what I thought so I don't feel the need to repeat it. I will go through the comments and like them as well.

We are paid for all the reaction that we get and so we get paid for likes too. Even i prefer replies as we can have more fun interacting. But there are times we can not go on interacting, then a like is a good way to end that conversation thread.

I like both, but better with replies because we know how they feel on our posts.
