Made a "real" dinner tonight...

Photo I took of my concoction on the stove

...nothing "fancy", as I'm not much of a cook, but just turkey and broccoli with teriyaki sauce. Even though I was tired, I wanted to do something besides just open a can of something or have a bowl of cereal. So I had half tonight and will have the rest for dinner tomorrow night, probably. Even though I didn't really feel like cooking anything, I'm glad that I did it. I know it probably sounds weird, but it makes me feel like I accomplished a little extra something--especially after not cooking for a while.

I love teriyaki sauce on foods. I haven't eaten a turkey before so don't know the taste.

It's pretty good. Not too much different than beef -- I'm not a huge fan of pork.

It's nice to have a homemade meal every now and then.
