Epstein?

Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. He was convicted on a plea bargain for molesting a 14-year-old girl in 2008. If he admitted guilt to lesser charge he could dodge worse charges. He did and did one year. It was controversial at the time. He was recently facing trafficking charges of young women so facing shame and embarrassment, of him and his important friends. He killed himself in jail so to save a lot of revelation. He did the right thing. A fellow inmate may have strangled him to shut him up but who cares. Prince Andrew has been pulled into the murk. He was a friend of the rich financier and so guilt by association , it seems, photographed in Epstein's house two years after the Jewish businessman was imprisoned and released. The question now is did this guys operation provide underage girls to the rich and famous? My problem with that is where do you draw the line between a prostitute and abuse. 20 women have come forward in court to say Epstein abused them. A lot of them received cash and reward from Epstein's people for their services though, 15 grand a night from the main accuser. A lot of these young women are all grown up and maybe would quite like some more money now he cant defend himself. if you are been flown around in private jets and given champagne and cash you are going to miss that lifestyle. If these girls were being abused - and they were all over 17 when flown around - why didn't they at east tell the guy at passport control? We have had just one conviction for the #metoo movement , Bill Cosby, and I fear the same here. America is a litigious country and if you sniff a payout you go fr it.

This is what I often think of those women who AFTER many months (see years) come out to say they were "abused" and it is surely to get more money. If you agree to do something against money or a favor, your are not abused, you have accepted a non written agreement. It is the same for the #meetoo actress, they all accepted to have a career, sow where is the abuse?

"Repeated rapes" committed with an interval of several days/weeks are 9/10 classified with no further action : it is difficult to believe that a woman would not only not lodge a complaint the first time, but would come back to be "raped" again and again, and later lodge a complaint. I am thinking at the actress raped 2 times by Depardieu, or the one raped 4 times by Luc Besson, etc...

@topffer I fully agree with this. You cannot be raped twice or "every week during several years", unless you are kept captive confined in a cell, as it happened to some poor girls, who had no way to file a complain.

@LadyDuck I am sorry our young tennis superstar - Bianca Andreescu - defeated your pretty tennis superstar Belinda Bencic in the semi finals of the U.S open. Federer also lost in the quarters.

Well, that is sad to hear but I hope that this man in our country who's convicted as rapist murderer would do the same. But I think that would not happen because he was about to be release because of this special law.

@antonbunot It's called Good Conduct Time Allowance law. A convict who demonstrates such could be freed.
