Travelling Solo ...

I travel back and fore the uk from spain for work and always arrive a day early... "just in case" of any disruptions and problems...
During these trips I sometimes go two or three days early to include visits to family members and I also find something else to do...
I try and visit a nature park or gardens or an historic building or a walk in the woods... but one of my most favourite things to do is walk along riverside paths.. see photo above...
I love the peace and quiet... but love to hear the water and sounds of nature all around too ... I enjoy the fresh air and exercise .. and the chillout time and of course taking photos...
I don't mind travelling solo most of the time as I can do and go where I want ... and at my own speed and .. I don't have to feel guilty about spending so much time photographing stuff... lol...
but ... at the same time.. I miss having a companion... just to go "wow" too .. or to say.. look at that..ect... especially my friends who are just as keen on photography and nature as I am...
But ... I also love to share my travels on here... and often take photos ... keeping in mind who I am going to share them with.. and how ...which is good fun.. and because you and they are in my mind... It sort of "feels" like you and they are with me anyway... lol...

i simply love stealin' 'way'n yer luggage 'n gettin' to take these walks with ya! don't matter to me where "we" go, yer pics 'n tales 'f such sure make me feel a part 'f the journey. can't thank ya 'nough fer that, sweet friend.
know what'cha mean, havin' someone with ya that'cha can "ooh, did'ja see that?" 'n dual cameras 'd be a blessin', too, lol. 've 'lso made the mistake 'f takin' some folks with me, jest to hear 'em complain 'f the time spent. yup, prefer to be 'lone'n such treks.

@sueznewz2 've ya noticed some'f not the patience 'f a 2yr ol'? 
i think the hubs here's the worst? 'twas 'lways rushin' me. that "how many more pics're ya gonna take??" uhm, 's many 's i wish? seems he's still no concept that when snappin' pics, particularly 'f critters, one's the need to snap many to hopefully get that 'perfect shot'.

thank you glad you like em... and yes I've made a couple of mistakes sometimes, with who I took...didn't go quite as planned lol...

I do understand wanting to share your travels with a companion for the verbal feedback but I also understand doing ezactly what you want to do
