Now it’s time to get "religious" about Niagara Falls. I'm a person of deep faith in God. This week-long vacation did nothing but reinforce that belief. The beauty of the mountains, the waterfalls, the beach, and everything in between just screamed to me the wonder of God. And I screamed back, "Yes, I believe!" Nowhere was that more evident to me than Niagara Falls. Those majestic falls. That lovely greenish tint to the water as it cascades over the edge. The rapids. Even the "not-as-pretty" American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls overwhelmed me with their beauty. The opening line of the classic song "How Great Thou Art" says: Oh, Lord, my God, When I, in awesome wonder, Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made That ran through my head over and over as I walked along the Niagara River. This isn't written to try to proselytize. It just explains why I do believe. And oh, how I believe.

I need to see it from the ground. Last time I saw it was from 35,000 feet and it looked like a hole in the ground. (Which speaks to how GRAND it really is!)

Nice that you have found spiritual about that place. I was just amazed by the enormity of the falls. I love that place truly enough it can really ignite something in you when you see the enormity of that place.

That is how I felt the first tine I seen the ocean, the gulf of Mexico. I felt so tiny looking out at the ocean. BTW, that was my dads favorite religious song.
