Attempted Facebook Breach

There was an attempt to hack my Facebook tonight, from Dallas, Texas. In order to have been successful, the hacker would have to know my current email address.
Has anyone else suffered an attempted hack from that area recently? I read somewhere that Dallas is prime ground for hackers.

I've had one of my old ones get hacked...the person even changed the profile picture...but I was able to get logged back in and deleted that account.

As far as I know, changed the password just to be safe.

One of the things that gets me is that the hacker/s don't even seem to realize (or care) that their IP shows up and can be traced.
