My neighbour's new toy!

A near neighbor of mine has just acquired a Ford Model A, dating from 1930. He was working on it this morning when I walked past with the dog and was good enough to let me take a few photos of it (after the dog walk was over and I had fetched my camera!). This model was the successor to the Model T and proved to be highly successful, having taken advantage of customer reactions to his Ford's earlier model. For example, the Model A has three pedals on the floor and better instrumentation, although it still seems quite primitive by modern standards. What amazes me is that this car looks so good and is still roadworthy at nearly 90 years of age!

How neat is that? It looks in pristine order.

You're right - I think he found something really good there. He says that he wants to show it off at vintage car rallies, where I'm sure it will attract a lot of attention.

@indexer Such rallies are very popular here. I think there might even be a T-model Ford floating around down this way.

That is really cool and it looks remarkably well kept! I love antique cars like this!

It certainly does look good for a car that is nearly 90 years old.
