i remember how i used to be so excited about the school when i was little. i used to spend so much time choosing the notebooks, because they had to be "related" to the subject - i'll buy one with numbers on it for math, one with nature for biology, one with computer for computer science and so on.
in high school i used to buy notebooks with pets. i don't know why i did that, except for i really love animals. it was so funny because i went to two high schools and i had to buy a lot of notebooks.
in senior year, i just bought random notebooks, i guess that's when i started to be tired of everything

I didn't have to buy notebooks, our school gave us free notebooks. They were all boring without any pictures but it was nice to get them for free. The first day of school we received our timetable and our books, and then we went home.

wow, well we had to buy notebooks + my generation was the first to go by the new system (9 grades) and we had to buy the original books, we couldn't borrow them or buy used ones because we were the first ones to use those books in school.
the first day we received our timetable + get homework to write about our summer break

@aureategloom We didn't have to buy any books. The school had the books we needed and we borrowed them. When the school year ended we returned the books to the school and after the summer holidays the next students received them. Some of the books were in bad condition because many other students used them before us, but it was nice that we didn't have to buy the books.

@Porcospino yeah, that's the practice now. but we couldn't do that because we were the first generation of this system.

i only liked buying things for school and wearing new clothes to school. later would get bored of it.
