1966 - The Beatles perform their last concert before a paying audience at Candlestick Park in San Francisco.
1997 - Netflix is launched as a DVD rental service.
2016 - Gene Wilder passes away. He was born in 1933. He was an American stage and screen comic actor, screenwriter, film director and author. Some of his movies (many of which were collaborated with writer/director Mel Brooks): The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (see below), Silver Streak, Stir Crazy, See No Evil Hear No Evil, Another You.
