And I've never felt so free! I have cyst and fibroadenoma. I have had it since I was 19 years old. I had two breast surgeries already because the surgeon wanted to take them out for a biopsy to make sure it's not cancer. They still continue to exist though. The surgeon didn't want to take all or my tiny breasts would cease to exist. I can uncomfortably feel the lump especially when I wear a bra. I don't wear push up bras nor underwire bra. And no tight bras for me ever. Nevertheless, I still feel uneasy. So two days ago, I decided to never wear a bra ever! However, I bought some silicone nipple patch. So far, I'm not getting any allergic reaction to the adhesive.I feel so great and more comfortable.

If it is for your own welfare then it is not a bad idea.

When I am at home working I always feel more comfortable not wearing a bra. I only wear a soft, comfortable sports bra when I go out.

That's good. I wear sports bra only when I had to run or work out. I have these bras that are actually more comfortable than sports bra but I still choose not to wear them anymore.

Yes, I've tried to read a lot about people with the same condition and all of them said they got rid of their bras.

It is really uncomfortable wearing a tight bra; good thing there are alternatives.

The bras I use are the ones from Uniqlo actually because the material is super light and it's not tight fitting at all. However, I think it's best not to wear a bra at all. But I do plan to buy their t-shirt bra which is also very light and comfortable.

I have a friend who has the same condition. She still does wear bra. She's been advised to avoid red meat though, specifically beef. I don't wear bra all the time. I go bra-less when I'm at home. If I need to wear them for propriety, I usually wear a loose baby bra/starter bra. On colder days, I just wear layers. I also hate bras with underwire. I bought only one in my lifetime and vowed to never use them again. They hurt so much.

Actually what the doctor told me is that it's hormonal. So anything you eat which can trigger the hormones should be avoided. And when you have your period, you can experience some hormonal changes and that could affect it's growth too. I wear bras from Uniqlo because they don't have wires and they're very comfortable actually. However, I just don't want to feel anything tight. Baby bras won't do for me, my nipples show. So that's why I needed a nipple patch more than anything else.

@almostoveryou NOpe I don't but you can't catch me eating pork. My surgeon never advised me to avoid certain kinds of food.

@toniganzon i've heard of the uniqlo bra. thinking of getting them for myself and for my eldest daughter when she reaches her teens. for now, we three girls in the family just wear starter bras. :D do you follow a strict food regimen for your condition?
