Will you have spaghetti for breakfast?

Early in the morning, we ran out of gas for the stove. So, I wasn't able to cook warm meals that my husband and kids can bring to work and school. We do have an electric stove but it's too heavy and too big to set up in the kitchen when you're doing the morning rush. I ended up opening a can of tuna so my daughter can have lunch in school. I made steamed rice with the help of a trusty rice cooker and prepared some cheese sandwiches. After dropping off my kids at school, I felt a pang of hunger. I realized I hadn't had a proper meal since last night. I skipped dinner because I didn't feel hungry. And there's just no time to eat breakfast while I was prepping my girls for school. So I ended up buying a plate of spaghetti at a neighborhood eatery. Noodles and pasta are common breakfast fare here in the Philippines. It may seem odd for other people, but here it's normal to have egg or rice noodles and spaghetti or macaroni first thing in the morning. I got spaghetti because it was the only food I could get at the eatery! It was filling but it was too salty for me. Some days you just gotta make do with whatever's there. * Image by PublicDomainPictures from Pixabay

When you don' have much choice, you eat what you got to eat. I would prefer not eating breakfast though.

@almostoveryou I can understand. I'm someone who doesn't take breakfast regularly. Even if I hadn't had dinner. A hot choco would be enough for me.

That's true. I would've skipped breakfast too if I had proper dinner the night before.

I like spaghetti, but not for breakfast or any meal, it’s more for snacks. I always like to have rice, eggs, fish or pork for breakfast.

I am not a picky person, but rather carefree in a good way, that is, I will not be looking up and down the refrigerator to see what I can do if I do not have my breakfast or my dinner, we simply improvise with what we have hand, in fact, one day I put in my lunchera my son pasta for breakfast and snack, he was happy! Since he loves to eat heavy food that leaves him satisfied, even one day he asked me not to put more sandwiches or fruit on him, he just wanted heavy and copious food to fill his stomach more hahahaha is a small eats a lot.

@almostoveryou That is horrible for the gas on the stove to run out. You were very creative.
