What is your most preferred footwear?

I was at a Payless store a few days ago trying on a variety of shoes for walking. I'm not one to go shoe shopping every time. But I do make time for some 'window shoe shopping' when I know that a pair or two that I own will soon die on me. Might as well go hunting for the next trusty pair. Growing up, I preferred only two types of shoe: the doll shoes (flats) and the sneaker type When I joined the workforce and had to do field reporting, I shifted to the more comfy walking shoes. I don't pledge allegiance to any specific brand. I get whatever's comfortable and affordable. Until now, I still prefer slip-on or Mary Jane type walking shoes. I haven't found one to my liking. I guess I'll have to keep looking so I can eventually replace my old Skechers. What type of shoe or footwear do you wear most often? * Image by chezbeate from Pixabay
