Love comes with acceptance....

While scrolling through my face book account I came across one video, it was an unusual one. The thing I realised post watching it is, love means total acceptance. And there is no denying fact that when we accept someone completely, we also have to accept some “not so pleasant” elements which can poke us and cause pain. This is something that is bound to happen, because no person is perfect. True form of love means to figure out and find ways on how to deal with those elements in a way that they help us to express our live to the fullest.... Wishing to begin my day on this beautiful thought.... Good day everyone!!!

I agree... One must love not only the angels of someone even his/her demons...

Yes, no one is perfect and so we must learn to put up with one another. 'Love is the perfect bond of union!'

Have a good day. Acceptance is the building block for any strong relationship. Only when it is there, love and respect follow.

I would mostly agree with you that love means total acceptance, but does love need total acceptance too, to still love? How do love and acceptance connect to each other? Do we need love to accept and connect? Do we need acceptance to totally love? Can we love without acceptance? Love builds on things like acceptance, but love itself needs nothing beside itself to love. Love is just love. That said, acceptance of another person is more likely to allow you to love them, because nonacceptance builds walls that love sits behind, and then needs to try to climb over. Love is still there, but the other person feels it less, because of the nonacceptance of them. This is like God's love. Accept God, and you feel his love more strongly. Reject God, and his love is still there, but you just do not feel its impact on your life so strongly anymore. You do not credit the love of God in you as having real value, and want to just go it alone. Love never works alone, but works in connection to others, and acceptance of them makes this connection stronger, but you can love others, even with no connection, (or the returning acceptance of you) there at all. Love is that powerful.

@Aansh13 Your very welcome. I am glad you understood what I was trying to say there. Of course, if we start from acceptance too, in accepting other people, for who they are, before we can even begin to love them for who they are, this will tend to draw the love out from both of us then too, and allow us to better connect, and to understand each other better then too.
