There are people who will pay thousands of dollars for the work of a dead artist, but then when a living artist asks some of them to buy for like $20, they act like they'd rather have a root canal. It's really quite insulting, if I'm being honest here. In protest, several years ago, I made this poster. I'd rather invest to help a fellow living artist and their family thrive than to accumulate a shrine's worth of dead artists work.
