Hey everyone, hope you are doing great. I am back to share my food/health post for the day. Fasting blood sugar: 163 (whoops! I am sure that is because of having extra carbs yesterday). Meal 1: Deli turkey (3 ounces) 1 swiss cheese slice 1 mozzarella cheese stick Blood sugar: 116 Meal 2: Deli turkey (2 ounces) 2 slices of deli ham 1 swiss cheese slice 1/2 serving of pizza flavored potato chips Blood sugar: 131 Meal 3: Double chocolate cream cheese Chaffle (1 egg, 1.5 oz cream cheese, swerve, cocoa powder, vanilla, and sugar free chocolate chips) Topped with some sugar free caramel syrup Blood sugar: 91 :) Snack: Peanut butter/butter mixture (because I was way under 1200 calories and still hungry) Macros: Calories: 1,316 Protein: 65 Fat: 98 Net carbs: 40 (I know it is way too high again, but still technically low carb) I think I did alright today, could have been better...need to get back into having my Keto Chow shakes. If you are curious about the Chaffle....I will tell you that this sweet, chocolatey one was alright. I would make it again, but make it sweeter. I also would actually mix in the cream cheese instead of just adding chunks of it in the chaffle. Anyways, so what do you all think? Also, how did you day foodwise?

I got all my calories in today, but I had beans and a hot dog ( no bread) but those are still high calories.

That's good that you did....depending on the hot dog they can be pretty high in calories for sure! I've never ate beans so not sure any nutrition on them!

Your blood sugar looks a little high except for meal three. Is it okay for you to have something that sweet if you're diabetic? Your numbers on a whole look good.

@just4him Oh yeah, I do fine with most sugar substitutes....long as it is not like maltodextrin or maltititol (those are just as bad as sugar).

I know the others are high, probably because of having carbs. And yes it's fine because there is no sugar in it....it's all sugar subs that don't affect blood sugar

Your chaffles look very good, I'll bet they turned out tasting delicious:) Sweeter is pretty easy, just add a little bit of syrup.

The chocolate chaffle? Needed to be sweeter, but was good! Hope you can try yours soon! That's good o hear that you are doing pretty good foodwise and with walking :)
