Among the various types of human tattoos are decorative, symbolic, pictorial, cosmetic and medical. Livestock can also be tattooed on an ear, for example, as a means of identification. A mummy with 61 tattoos was found in glacial ice in the Alps and was dated to 3250 B.C. The two oldest mummies with figurative tattoos were discovered in Egypt and were dated to 3351 and 3017 B.C. I saw the clothes and objects that Otzi had with him in the Alps soon after the discovery. They were looking brand new, quite impressive, but it did not decide me to have tattoos.

I agree, I have seen Otzi and he has no tattoos.

@LadyDuck He had several tattoos, but they have been discovered by a multispectral analysis and cannot be seen with our eyes only.

@topffer In fact I have not seen tattoos on his skin, I have to say that it looked pretty impressive.

I do not like tattoos. Anyway I have seen Otzi (the one found in the Alps), but I have not seen tattoos, he has scars.
