Former National Football League (NFL) quarterback Ron Jaworski made a great impression to the Bridgeton (New Jersey) High School team before the start of the current football season by donating 80 new football jerseys that arrived on Tuesday.
Jaworski donated the football jerseys as former Millville High School football and baseball coach Tony Surace who is currently working with the Salmon Ventures consulting firm contacted the Ron Jaworski Jaws Youth Playbook foundation a few months earlier.
Jaworski donated $10,000 to the high school so the high school as his way of giving back to the community after his retirement from the league after the end of 1989 football season after 17 season of playing pro football.
The members of the Bridgeton High School football team were very thankful for their gift from the former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback.

Cool, the schools need much more like this generous former NFL player, Mr. Jaworski! Locally, annual donations working with Times Supermarket and other companies has sale items, if purchased, and when at the cashier, you let them know that you'd like to donate to your favorite high school, is what's going on now. I bought some items, donated to my alum, Waipahu High School, The Marauders and it felt super good to help my alums!

It is good to know that a lot of us are assisting our high schools who are in need of the basic supplies since it makes us happy inside.

@oahuwriter That is true since many bowling alleys have closed their doors recently. Thank goodness for video games.

Sure does. Sports is not a big priority, though the professionals make lots of money.

That is true since a handful of them are being branded whiners by their critics for not giving back to their communities.

I remember watching Ron (Jaws) Jaworski play for the Eagles. He was a decent QB and from your post an even better human being! Terrific of him to give back

Ron is one the good guys who did an excellent job working for ESPN on the football games previews of upcoming games before he was released due to the money crunch.
