My First Step in Minimalism

I stopped buying clothing, shoes and bags. I make do with what I have. My summer clothes are getting worn out so I plan on altering my cotton T shirts into tanktops or sleeveless tops by cutting and handsewing them.
I find it very therapeutic. I feel that I have enough and healing me from my feeling of scarcity. We even have so much cups and glasses.
I'm having fun creating looks, mixing and matching with what I have.

That's so true. We have abundance and many are not being fully utilized.

That is really good to know. And you are right about the benefits. Heal Your Living channel in youtube inspires me on the path. Goodbye, Things is a good book as well.

I admire people that are minimalist. I think it is wise to organize storage of clothes and not buy anymore clothing unless it is necessary. It is sensible and clever of your to alter some clothing like T-shirts into sleeveless tops. It is satisfying to have fun matching outfits and creating lovely looks. You could add an insole to a shoe to make it more comfortable.

i use stuff until they're unusable. but i also pass on stuff that others can still use. i think it's okay to buy new stuff as long as you unload other stuff, too, so they don't pile up.

I'm glad I stumbled upon it. And it's true fewer material things would be easier to take care of

I think it is a good idea to use what you already have instead of buying new things all the time.
