Someone abandoned 3 puppies next to our yard

Last night I saw a huge box next to our yard. The box had leaves in it, which is weird. Today I heard some puppies crying. There were 3. Now I have 3 female puppies next to my yard. My father can't stand animals. I don't know what I will do with them. I was less active here because of my depression. The cat that disappeared made me very depressed. And also the other problems I have. The cats that live outside are terrified of these small dogs.

I'd feed those puppies, give them water, and call the Humane Society. They will find them a good home. This is where Kobe came from, a cardboard box of 5 abandoned puppies.

I fear they do not have "Humane Society" in her country.

@LadyDuck This would be a terrible situation! I'd feed(water) them and try to find a good home for each puppy.

I don't have Humane Society here. Here such animals depend only on people. We have shelters, but puppies die there.

The poor things looks so small. Do they eat by themselves already? Can you give them some food and water? May be you can ask around if someone you know wants a small dog.

@dya80dya The kids should leave the kittens alone, they need to stay together, they are safer.

They are smaller than a cat or a kitten. Yes, they know how to eat by themselves. They can only drink water and milk. I gave them some milk and water. And some neighbors also fed them. The problem is the kids. One kid took one puppy and he put it on a garage. I talked to them. They shouldn't do this.

@LadyDuck They are puppies, not kittens. They are together, but they are still so young. They need their mother. Today is another day and no one wants them. They don't stay here anymore. They are near cars now. Some children took them and left them there.

You can just give them some food and water for the time being. Is there any animal rescue group in your country which can be called for help?? Or you can put their picture on social media and see if someone comes for adopting them. My friend did the same for puppies she found on streets and they found a home.

We have someone here who saves animals. It's a vet. He has a private shelter. But now he is overcrowded. I will talk to him tomorrow. Maybe he can receive them. I gave them milk and water. They can't eat more than milk.

@arunima25 They are still near our yard. Neighbors feed them. The vet said he is more than overcrowded. He had 20 abandoned puppies in a week. He doesn't have space for them. I don't know what will happen. I added posts on Facebook, but no one wants them. They are smaller than a kitten.

Calling the humane society or the local shelter may get the puppies taken care of. Giving them water and a few scraps of food would be good to if you can without getting yourself into issues with your father.

@cperry2 I always say the same thing. I really dislike people that mistreat animals or people. There is no reason for that.

We don't have humane society here. In the local shelter puppies die all the time. They have severe diseases.

@ramapo17 I don't know if it is ignorance that leads people to do such acts or just the attitude of I don't care. Either way it is wrong on every level of humanity. I"d like to see strong laws AND stronger enforcement on this cruel act.

Oh that is so sad. The puppy in the photo is absolutely adorable. What did you wind up doing with the poor little things.

@dya80dya if someone took them hopefully they took them in and found them homes. Maybe the person who dumped them felt bad and came back for them.

They disappeared. All three. A neighbor fed them 3 times each day. And one day they were all gone. I wanted to give them to a shelter, but it was too late. My neighbor asked everyone. No one saw who took the puppies. They were smaller than a cat.

@shaggin I don't think so. They were dumped in a forest. And some children brought them here. The person who abandoned them wanted to kill them. They were so small and it was impossible for them to survive in a forest. But I hope someone took them to find homes for them. I checked everywhere and they disappeared for good. I checked Facebook to see if someone wanted to find homes. I couldn't find anything. All animals disappear for good.

I really want to have a puppy but unfortunately I can't get one, I wish I'll spot abandoned dogs too! But I'm happy since I didn't see any abandoned dogs in my neighborhood.

Would you keep all 3 puppies? Here people don't have money to take care of them. They need vaccines, good food, treatments. I wish I can keep at least one, but it's my father's yard. He doesn't want any new animals. We already have one dog and some cats.

From the picture of the puppy it looks like it might need something like a mushy food that is easy for it to lap up. Something like oatmeal with a small amount of milk that would fill its belly and quiet the crying. Then call the animal services or humane society in your area to come and take them in. They're too young to be outside for very long. If you can't find an animal services in your area try calling your local police department for help. DON'T call the emergency line, just call their normal call line and explain the situation, they may be able to help you. It's too bad that your father can't stand animals, it sounds like you would adopt the dogs yourself.....

Do you think that something bad can happen to them if they are outside? I wish I could take them in my yard until I find an owner for them. But my father doesn't want this. They are near our yard now. Children can take them and this is not good. Today one kid put a puppy on a garage. Some neighbors fed them, but I think kids are dangerous for them. I don't have humane society here or animal service. I have a vet here that has a shelter, but he is overcrowded. I will try to talk to him tomorrow.

@dya80dya Maybe he can think of someone that can take them in until someone else wants them.
